A candle for every legend.

Daily tributes to musicians and makers – today, yesterday, or any date you choose. Fully offline, no accounts, no ads.

Wake The Legends opens straight into today’s panel, with a link to yesterday if you missed a day. Each legend has a short bio, and when you’re online you can dive deeper using quick links to external sites for more detail.

You can create your own legends for family, friends and mentors, hide entries you don’t wish to see again, and even send a legend to a radio station as a song request using a pen name if you’d rather stay anonymous.

Search & your own legends

  • Use the Search Legends box to find people by name or AKA (stage name / alias).
  • Create your own legends for family, friends, mentors or local heroes you never want forgotten.
  • If there is someone you don’t wish to see again, you can slide to the left to hide that legend from your view.

Radio requests, quietly

  • From inside the app you can send a legend to a radio station as a song request.
  • Use a nom de plume (pen name) if you’d rather keep your real name out of it.
  • It’s a simple way to hear a favourite track and share that legend with everyone listening.
