Sovereign Apps — Privacy Policy and Terms

Sovereign Apps is an independent developer label. Our apps are built to work offline, without accounts, ads, analytics, or background data collection. Your data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to share content in a future, optional feature.
Apps covered
Data we do not collect
- No personal information from children or adults.
- No identifiers (device IDs, advertising IDs), no telemetry, no crash analytics.
- No location, contacts, photos, or clipboard access.
On-device permissions
- Microphone: requested only if you choose to record custom sounds. Audio stays local.
- Storage/Files: used only to save and load your local stories and sounds. Files stay local.
Future optional sharing (not enabled yet)
If we introduce an optional, free service to upload or share your stories and sounds, it will work as follows:
- Opt-in only: nothing is sent unless you tap to submit specific files.
- Scope: only the exact files you select are transmitted. No other device data is accessed.
- No third parties: content will be handled by our own controlled infrastructure. No ads, no analytics, no social SDKs.
- Moderation: submissions may be rejected or removed if unlawful, infringing, or inappropriate for families.
- Security: submissions are transmitted over TLS and stored with access controls. We use least-data principles.
- Retention: shared content is kept only for the purpose of making it available in-app. If unreviewed or inactive, it may be purged during annual renewal cycles.
- Deletion: you can request removal at any time via email; verified requests will be processed and confirmed.
Children
Our apps do not collect personal information from children or adults. If an optional sharing feature launches, it will include clear parental controls and moderation. App-specific age ratings are declared on Google Play.
No third-party services
We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs. If this ever changes, this page will be updated before any integration ships.
Security
We apply least-privilege design and only request permissions at the point of use. If optional sharing is enabled in the future, submissions use TLS in transit and restricted storage at rest.

Changes
If we introduce the optional story/sound sharing service, this page will be updated to reflect operational details, moderation, retention, and deletion. The “Last updated” date will change.
